Transforming Lives through Speech Therapy

Meet the owner: David Lopez, MS CCC-SLP

Welcome to Rise with Pride Speech-Language Pathology Services! I am very excited to embark on this journey and share a piece of myself with my clients, both current and prospective. A native of Miami, FL and born to Cuban immigrant parents, I gained a multicultural perspective early on which fueled my love of language and culture. This passion for language led me to study French and later continue my studies into linguistics and speech-language pathology. I have extensive linguistic knowledge which influences how I approach treatment methods. I view myself as a "forever student", constantly investigating novel treatment approaches, reviewing the current state of the literature, and providing the most up-to-date treatment methods to better serve you.

As the proud owner of Rise with Pride Speech-Language Pathology Services, I understand that effective communication is the foundation for success in both personal and professional lives. After many years working in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and home health, I decided to open my own speech therapy practice in December 2023 with the goal to better serve the growing need for outpatient speech therapy services. I provide a broad range of personalized services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. I use current evidence-based techniques and advanced technology such as AAC/speech generating devices to create customized therapy plans that help my clients overcome communication challenges. I am also an advocate for the LGBT community and am dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all my clients. Reach out today to learn more about how I can help you and your loved one Rise with Pride!
